Regional Sales Director - South East Region

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the market-leading provider of motor finance and technology solutions in a leadership role as the Regional Sales Director for the South East Region.
 

THE ROLE

The Regional Sales Director role is a key, varied and often complex role. Reporting directly into the Head of Sales the RSD’s responsibility is to ensure that the South East Team of Account Managers achieve their targets within a strict Regulatory Framework.

The Account Managers hold all existing dealer relationships within the Region and are also targeted to develop new business opportunities within their defined geographical area. You will have responsibility for the overall targets and growth plans of the region, both operationally and strategically. The Region covers the South East of England from London, Berkshire, Kent and East Sussex

INDIVIDUAL

You will be part of the Sales Leadership Team so will need to be comfortable communicating with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels and have the ability to lead and coach your team with a calm and confident approach in challenging situations. You will be able to plan and implement multiple strategies in parallel and clearly communicate those strategies.

Whether it’s our award-winning technology or our un-paralleled panel of lenders, you will be comfortable presenting and discussing multi-layered proposals to dealers of all sizes and types and you’ll be skilled at understanding their requirements and then be able to present our solutions back in a clear and professional manner. The ability to work proactively, plan your time carefully and think strategically in a fast-moving and competitive market whilst balancing a number of Key Business Deliverables is vital.

EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Significant experience of motor finance or the motor industry is essential.
  • Commercial acumen including demonstrable track record of managing relationships at a senior level and winning new business.
  • Previous leadership of a Sales Team is preferred with evidence of an ability to build, develop and motivate a highly effective Area Team.
  • Excellent understanding of the local market and competitors.
  • Skilled negotiator and communicator who can bring a team with them on a journey.
  • Desire to thrive through continuous growth and development in a fast paced, changing environment and to bring others along with change.
  • Able to evidence a strong understanding of the regulatory environment we operate in and its importance.
  • Full UK driving licence.

BENEFITS

Salary level subject to experience, total expected annual income, subject to performance on combined salary and monthly and quarterly commissions is £90 – 110k.

Monthly and quarterly bonus schemes are uncapped and encourages you to grow your area and reap the rewards of your success.

Car Allowance of £8k per year with optional Salary Sacrifice Electric Car Scheme Plan.

4 x basic salary life insurance

Starting holidays at 25 days plus 8 bank holidays, growing with service to 29 days plus 8 bank holidays.

Generous pension above statutory minimum.

All tech provided for you to deliver in your role – laptop, mobile phone etc.
