growth capital and strategic minority investments throughout Europe in the technology, telecommunications, software and business services sectors. He is based in London.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since joining Carlyle in 2001, Fernando has advised on 11 major investments and nine completed realisations across Europe. Prior to joining Carlyle, he worked for the strategic venture arm of J.P.
